Established in 1971 by Oregon wine industry pioneer Cal Knudsen and his wife Julia Lee, Knudsen Vineyards is one of Oregons oldest and largest family-owned vineyards. It is also the original site of Bonded Winery No. 52, the first commercial winery in the Dundee Hills. The 130-acre vineyard in the heart of the Dundee Hills AVA includes a mix of old-vine blocks and new high-density blocks planted with Old World Dijon clones. Knudsen Vineyard was a primary supplier of grapes to Knudsen Erath Winery from 1975 through 1986 and has been a leading supplier of fruit to Argyle Winery since 1987. In 2014, the Knudsen family returned to winemaking under its own label, and in 2020 they opened The Outlook at Knudsen Vineyards tasting room.

The staff here are so great! Always smiling and ready to accommodate anything a guest needs. The wines are great, too!
The wines are a fantastic expression of Pinot and Chardonnay in the Willamette Valley. Each Pinot is a bit different from the last. Their 2021 Murto is worth checking out.

Friendly vineyard with great views
The views were great, from some spots you could see . We just walked in for a glass of wine and were treated just like anyone who had made a reservation for a tasting. It was not busy as it was a Monday afternoon with 96* heat. The server Joel was so friendly and made some other great recommendations. Would love to be there on a cooler day to sit outside on the patio.

Excellent wine and service to match
Stopped by late in the day for a visit. We didn’t have reservations. We had four adults and a two year old. They immediately brought the two year old a juice and a pack of goldfish. We bought a bottle of sparkling and two glasses of other wines. The wine was delicious and we took home a couple of bottles. But the best thing here was the homey feel of the tasting room and the excellent service. Thank you to Brittany for her hospitality.

Great Tasting and views
We had a great visit. Norm was an excellent host giving us the ability to move outdoors to taking in the wonderful scenery. He had no problem with walk-in and our request for a food plate to complement the wines. He gave us a lot of information on each wine we tasted and included a map on each of the blocks planted at the site. Our visit and tasting was very impressive.
