Very nice winery. We got a reservation at the last minute. Such a nice seating area. All the wines were good. Hanna was a knowledgeable and lovely server.
Wine tasted in a heated igloo - so much fun!! Amazing people here and incredibly wines! We joined the Dobbes family and are so excited that we did. It is on the main road so easy to get to and really pretty!

Dud tasting at Dobbes
I researched wineries for our first visit to Willamette. Dobbes got great reviews. Hence, our visit. I booked a Sunday afternoon appt. as, there is live music at this time. We were expecting a beautiful afternoon . We got the worst experience of our 5 day trip. There was no live music. Covid? ? ( seems to b every excuse these days) the wine was pretty much undrinkable. We wouldn’t know, as we received a sip? Per pour ? Couldn’t wait to leave this place . Dropped $75. For 3 tastings, that were undrinkable . Enclosed is the pic of the actual pour. Dobbes should b ashamed of themselves....go elsewhere !
Was raining for most of the tme duirng my visit. I came early for my rsservtion and did not go outside which was okay. Learned more about the soil content used to grow the different grapes in Oregon but it's the climate that plays a bigger role. Still it is inteeresting to taste wines under the same climate but different soils. They only grow one grape but souce grapes from farmers in the Willamette Valley area which is okay with me. Bought Grenache blanc which was the best of their wines. Parking can be difficullt and may need to park on the street if crowded; would come back again.
