A must-stop-here winery!
Brandon, Jim, and Emma have done a great job with this hidden treasure of a winery. It is a small operation where attention to detail is evident in the excellent wines they produce. We tried their five wine flight with their reds. Every wine was appreciably better than the wines we buy at our local wine store, at a very competitive price. The tasting room is hand built and quaint. But do not prejudice the wines based upon the appearance of the building We! We highly recommend a visit!

Stop Here When Pigs Fly
And Flying Pigs are all over the place. Family operated with a modest tasting room — just our style. Particularly enjoyed the 2015 Viognier. They age their reds until the tannins soften and they are ready to drink. The Winery is going through a transition right now, but it is definitely worth a taste!

A hidden gem
It's not a fancy place but the wines are lovingly made and high quality. The first time I tasted the Cabernet Franc, I left the winery and headed towards Jacksonville-- the wine was so delicious that I turned back around and bought several bottles! Outstanding Viognier, Pinot Noir and Syrah as well... Run by a lovely and friendly family who are glad to sit and talk with you about wines. So don't skip this humble tasting room; go elsewhere for the views and here for the wine and a look at a real family winery.

Great wine...
We spent two nights in Jacksonville and we decided to stop at this winery for tasting. We made a good choice. The owner was there and spent 2 hours with us talking and sharing some stories. We tasted 5-6 wines and talked about each wine. We really appreciate the experience and we certainly recommend this place Its fun, good wine and not expensive. This is a place to go if you are in Jacksonville.

Devitt Winery-Stop and check it out!
On the way through the Applegate Valley and after hitting two upscale wineries we saw the Devitt Winery sign and decided to give it a try! Small hole in the wall, blink and you miss it so don't blink! A little dark and musty but clean with neat pig trinkets! Great wines and prices. Brendon poured our flight and helps his parents run the place. Very knowledgeable and friendly. 4 of the 5 wines we tasted were very good. We purchased two bottles and were on our way. Recommend stopping when driving on highway 238.
