Lovely wines and nice winemaker/owners
This winery is not close to anything. The tasting room is in the warehouse and the scenery isn't great but the wines are good! It's always good when you can talk to the winemaker and find out the nuances of the wines. We bought the iPinot and Pommard Clone Pinot. This is worth a trip down a dirt road with no signs!

Very Pleasurable Experience, Great Wine!
We had the pleasure of visiting Amalie Robert during a rare open house. Winemaker Ernie was a treat. He was very articulate, interesting, funny, knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us an unsolicited mini tour and taught us many details about his vineyard and winery and equipment and processes. Grapes are all estate grown. They do not buy grapes from other vineyards, and they do not sell their grapes to other wineries. The wines are simply terrific, and there is a large variety of choices, with focus placed on Pinot Noir. We signed up for their "A-List" membership on the spot. This winery is not open very often, and it's off the beaten path (note dirt/gravel roads for a couple of miles), but it is well worth a visit. We highly recommend Amalie Robert!
