Great wine tasting experience
Incredible wine tasting experience today at Alexana. We tasted 6-7 wines all of 2021 vintage. We learned so much about the Willamette Valley area and soils in the property. By far the best experience we have had in visiting wineries in Oregon over the past couple of years.

Incredible Wine Tasting Experience
This winery was recommended to us by Dan at Willamette Valley Bed and Breakfast, and we are so glad we went — we had the perfect experience here. My sister and I were celebrating our birthdays and felt so special right from the moment we arrived and were greeted with a personalized tasting menu, arranged by our loved ones, and a gorgeous view. We learned a ton about the valley and the wines, surrounded by a beautiful environment, and the pacing of the tasting was unhurried and relaxed — and the wine itself was incredible. We can’t wait to be back!

Exceptional wine selection, including some I had never tried before
We went to an event at Alexana based on a recommendation from some of my wife's work colleagues. They were having a conversation about wineries, and no fewer than four of them all recommended Alexana. That was some high praise and probably no coincidence, so we decided to give it a try. We specifically did an event called a "portfolio tasting", where we got to taste wine from not only Alexana but also the other vineyards owned by the same person. They were all extraordinary. Adding to that was the catering they used, which included some truly spectacular pairings. I also tried a semillon for the first time, a variety I hadn't even heard of ahead of the event. 100 percent worth a visit. We left with 5 bottles that day.

Great spot for a catered special event
We visited here with a group for dinner and it was outstanding. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all excellent. There was a grill master from "farm-to-fire Tournant" who produced a cedar-plank smoked salmon with mountains of fresh herbs that melted in your mouth, and perfectly charred lamb chops served with chimichurri sauce. Along with the salmon, they also served a wonderful spring pea risotto. I know there was also a delicious dessert, but I can't remember what it was. There were many red wines to taste, but I preferred the rose. Really an excellent evening!

Wide variety of sampling options with an upscale experience
A wide variety of distinctly different pinot tasting profiles from their Newberg vineyard. Bonus sample of their Argentina Malbec blend. Their Napa cab was available too. Modern, clean, great views and a bit bougie. Generous host, our friends joined the wine club because of the great variety of vintages. We left with a case and a lot of smiles !
