Amazing
Amazing and beautiful. We arrived a little early but were seated without a problem. Tour doesn't drag and you get to know about the winery - ours was done inside the 'bunkers' due to the heat. After that was the tasting, had we realised there'd be ample food we'd have skipped breakfast, really surprised! The wines are lovely so we ended up staying for another 2 bottles!! The lady who was our tour guide but also taster (due her baby soon) was excellent, brilliant English and very informative - we wish her the best with her new edition in a month or so. Although this is up in the hills they will even call a taxi for you which charged us no more than our taxi from our hotel, so no designated driver is needed. All in, 5 star place, beautiful surroundings with geese, chickens and a peacock roaming freely, excellent hosts along with beautiful wine and food.

Highly recommend - friendly staff and beautiful countryside spot - good wines and food
The highlight of my trip to this area of Albania - I booked in for the tasting experience lunch option for 1. The location sits in the beautiful countryside but still only 15 minutes from my hotel in Durres. The tasting and mini tour was led by Tania who spoke fantastic English, was extremely kind and offered plenty of opportunities to ask questions. She is a credit to their winery. I’ve been on many wine tours and sometimes the information is so overwhelming but this really was perfect level of information for a small tour before a slow paced lunch - where you can enjoy the view whilst sat amongst their vines and olive trees. I highly recommend. All the members of staff were so friendly and smiley. It felt like a luxury lunch in nature - and they were able to make the lunch menu vegetarian for me. The wines and food were great - I particularly liked their very easy drink white wine and the bio salad. Delicious. Five stars.

Abaia Winery
We had a wonderful experience at Abaia Winery from start to finish. The day began with an excellent hotel pickup service, and our driver, Enea, made the journey especially enjoyable. He was friendly, professional, and shared many useful tips for the rest of our trip. It was a pleasure talking with him on the way to the winery. Once we arrived at Abaia, the outstanding hospitality continued. We were given an interesting and informative tour of the winemaking process, which made us appreciate the wines even more. The wine tasting itself was excellent, with delicious wines perfectly paired with high-quality food. The entire experience took place in a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere that made us feel very welcome. A big thank you to Enea and the whole Abaia team for creating such a memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Albania and looking for a great wine and food experience.

A Gem of a Winery
Abaia winery is a gem! I went for an afternoon of wine tasting with two friends and we had a wonderful time. The grounds are gorgeous, the wine tasting was fantastic and the food spread that accompanied the tasting was much bigger than we expected. What made the experience truly memorable was our server, Tania. She was knowledgeable, warm, and the kind of person who makes you feel like a welcomed guest rather than just another customer. If you go, hope that you get her. Overall, a great experience that I highly recommend
