(actually reviewing both dinner and lunch) We have eaten at the Wayfarer in the past, and if you can get a window table, it has a lovely view. But this time we were staying at the adjacent Surfsand Hotel, in a beachfront room with an amazing view, so we just got our meals as takeout, which was perfect! If we hadn’t already been walking by, they also offer “room service” delivery, for just a slightly higher gratuity (which seems quite reasonable!). For the dinner, we had prawn linguini, which was fine, but nothing special. The Caesar salad was quite good. Our lunch the next day was excellent. The chicken sandwich (substituting salad for fries) and Blackened Salmon Tacos were both delicious, and we would recommend both.

We went to the Wayfarer two times during our recent visit to Cannon Beach. I originally read reviews on Trip Advisor, but we also received recommendations to eat here from locals. We ate here the first and last nights of our visit. My boyfriend got the Crab Bake, which he loved so much we had to go twice. Crab, shrimp, scallops, potatoes in an amazing sauce. The steamed clams were amazing. We also had that twice! The fish and seafood are very fresh, and our server Jeremy was great. Recommend reservations as this restaurant is very popular and busy for good reason. Right next to the beach and in the parking lot of the Surf Sand resort. Very centrally located and reasonably priced. We would highly recommend!

Come for the view
Wonderful views and food. In spite of this, it remains casual so no need to dress up. Online reservations were appreciated but you can also walk in.

Great food and great service. Luke was an excellent server. The views are amazing. The beef and halibut were very good. Overall, highly recommended.

Nice anniversary dinner
Had our 50th Anniversary dinner here. It was very nice, comfortable, with great food and service. They were very busy but treated all customers well and patiently.
