Bate and switch
It was our anniversary, New Years Eve, My husband called ahead to ask if the wonderful short ribs were on the menu and how early should we get there to be sure they didn’t run out and the lady answering suggestion’s changed our reservation to earlier. He was really surprised and disappointed when he got there and found out there were no short ribs, only a set menu to the tune of $400 for both of us . We are not from there, and have taken guest there when ever we were close by, always to have a good meal, even though expensive. Now we will be staying in Dundee again, but will drive to McMinnville to have dinner. Sorry but that experience turned me off.

Tina's Is THE best!
We hosted guests from Taiwan. The staff (and owner) were very gracious and patient during our ordering of dinner as well as accommodating to our special requests.

We were treated terribly, worst service I have seen in my life !
We went to Tina's June 1, 2025 to celebrate my birthday. We left the following day for a month long trip so I am just now writing our review. We had been to Tina's before, and always enjoyed it and would say we had in the past considered Tina's to be one of the nicer fine dining experiences in the state of Oregon. Our June 1, 2025 visit changed all of that, it was a disaster. The ambiance was fine, the food and the cocktails were nice but the service was the worst I have ever experienced in my life, in any restaurant in the US, or Europe, and this is over a 50 year time span. The service problem I mentioned all stemmed from our main server, a woman, maybe in her 30's who was just plain mean and nasty. We had a 5:00pm reservation. By 5:05 my wife and I had each ordered a cocktail and when they were served at 5:15 pm, we put in an order for an appetizer. In a another minute or so our waitress asked if we had decided what we would like to order for dinner and we said, no, we weren't ready to place our order yet. She came back a minute later and said " you must give me you dinner order now, immediately! I said we weren't quite ready and could we have a few more minutes to make our choices and in a very nasty way said, "no, you must give me your order now, I can not wait even 1 more minute". When I asked if we could please have just a few more minutes she said, "no. I can not even give you 1 more minute. We need to keep the orders flowing into the cooks in the kitchen, and I can not give you any more time". So, as I shook my head in total disbelief at the total nastiness and rudeness of our waitress, we gave her our order, ate our meal and left, being blown away that any server would ever treat any customer that way, but especially in a fine dining establishment like Tina's. Needless to say, we will never go back to Tina's. It is hard to believe that the Tina's management staff could hire a server like that. She behaved more like a prison guard or an army drill instructor. The sad thing about this is that everything else about Tina's is great, but this mean spirited server ruined the experience and so we will never return, Mark R

Tina’s checks all the boxes!
Tina’s is an exceptional experience that combines incredibly warm and welcoming hospitality, skillfully prepared and artfully presented food, a very nice wine list that highlights some truly outstanding local (as well as other) wines, in a lovely setting. The owners are hands-on: Michael, who has decades of experience cooking in fine dining establishments, is the creative genius who developed the menu and gets it done in the kitchen, along with another chef who comes in at night to help. Dawn is absolutely adorable! She runs the front of the restaurant, with humor, grace and a winning personality. Both of them are gracious, interesting, and talented. Service is perfectly choreographed: everything arrives when it should at the right temperature and your conversation is never interrupted. The menu has a little bit of everything: fish and seafood to chops and steaks. I needed something a little lighter, and our waitress, Ryanne (“Ryan”), steered me to her personal favorite, the goat cheese soufflé. It was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I’m pretty sure you don’t even have to like goat cheese to LOVE this soufflé. My husband had the rack of lamb, it was perfect. I believe it had been dry-brined, and it was perfectly tender and so flavorful! The salad was delicious and fresh, and the dessert, while simple, was perfect: warm Marion berry pie with a scoop of locally made vanilla ice cream. We’ve been patrons of Tina’s for years, and you can always count on a delightful experience and terrific food. Even the instrumental music in the background has been carefully considered. This place is a treasure! Be sure to visit with Michael and Dawn while you are there: They are what make Tina’s such a warm and inviting place to spend your evening.

100 for a NY Strip.
$96 for NY Strip. absolutely ridiculous. mediocre at best...I wish we had asked how much....How can the special be 100 dollars? and how can it be a NY strip...I asked manager about price and he said it came with a salad....it was a small salad. only greens. no other veggies. mind blown.
