Lunch is not available at 11:30, as advertised
I arrived at 11:30 for lunch. Was told it would be a 35 minute wait. After waiting over 45 minutes, at 12:20 I was pointed to a nearby table for four and given a breakfast menu. I asked the server for a lunch menu and he said that I was on the “breakfast list” and could only order breakfast. I did not ask to be on the breakfast list because I don’t like any breakfast foods, and because I can’t eat eggs. He rudely told me to leave the table and continue to wait until everyone had finished ordering breakfast. They say on their website that lunch is served from 11:30 until 3:00. Guess that is a complete lie. I left and will not be returning or recommending the restaurant to anyone.

Setting is memorable
Lovely setting outside of the restaurant beautiful flowers with windows to enjoy the view. Omelette and pancakes were delicious.

Great find in Lincoln City
Easily the best fish tacos I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a LOT of fish tacos)! Finished it off with some peach cobbler, which was also delicious. Fresh food and a super cute restaurant. 10/10 recommend

Very poor surly attitude.
Special French Toast was raw bread in the center. I was told by the surly waiter that this is the way they have done it for 25 years and do not take any suggestions.

Quality Going Downhill
This used to be a favorite breakfast place to eat at when visiting the coast. The three of us got there at 9:20 and there was plenty of seating, which is good since it isn't a big place. The service was OK, but our server seemed rushed. The coffee is horrible - probably the worst coffee at any Oregon restaurants, but the food is usually good with homemade bread. The problem that I had that make me rethink coming back, in addition to the bad coffee and OK service, was that anything fried tasted like the oil was rancid, even the wonderful bread. Rancid oil not only tastes bad, but is bad for your health. The two other relatives I was with having never been here gave the restaurant a 3 out of 5 star rating, not because of the rancid oil, but because the food wasn't that good. Very disappointing, since my wife and I always liked coming her in the past. We think there are new owners who are trying to cut corners on food prep quality and server attentiveness.
