Disappointing
Been to this restaurant several times in the last 25 years but not since Covid, until today, when we went with our grandkids. What we encountered was a ‘shell’ of the nice restaurant and service/food it had been previously. Now rundown, with rough concrete floors, stains on parts of the ceiling, and the operating model train that used to run around the wall of the restaurant now gone. But the worst part was the service. The place was not crowded today when we went, yet we waited a long time to be seated, then forever to be brought menus, then way too long for the food - then on top of that forever to be brought a bill at the end of the meal. We spent 10 minutes eating the actual meal and probably an hour and fifteen minutes or more waiting on these poor service issues that shouldn’t be. The food was just okay. Not a pleasant experience at all and I don’t think we’ll return. There are other dining options to try in Bandon…….

I love diner food...but not this diner!!!
Our local after-church lunch bunch decided to give the Station another try after leaving this place because of mostly unhealthy, pre-processed, and poorly prepared food. It hasn't changed at all. Worst food in Bandon.

Great food!!!
I had food here twice in Sept. I just happen to stay in Bandon with a friend and then travel through with my husband. It is fashioned after a diner and is cute. The first time I went was for breakfast, which was great, and the second for lunch. My husband and I both had burgers and they were the perfect diner burgers. I will stop here every time I come to Bandon. It isn't very far from Old Town.

y'all should know better
We ordered breakfast over the phone. The potatoes / Home Fries / Reds... chopped up chunks of potatoes were warmed. It looks like they were frozen and came out of a bag. The eggs werent the yellow you would expect from eggs with yolks in them but they were formed into an omelet nicely. The problem here is the potatoes. Barely cooked out of a bag. Not fresh, not fried, not even deep fried. Just warmed up. Also ordered biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were flat and cold like pancakes. For being revamped recently this place takes no pride in to go orders. Wont order there again.

Great ambiance, great service, food not so good
We tried the Station Restaurant on a recent Wednesday morning. We arrived around 8:30 and were able to be seated immediately. When we left about 45 minutes later, there was a line of people waiting. Our waitress mentioned it is often busy, so get there early. What I liked about the Station? The ambiance! Total diner vibe with a Train Station theme. There are lots of signs and artwork to remind you of a train depot. They have a soda fountain counter like you would see in an old drugstore or diner. Their chocolate milk was excellent. The prices seemed reasonable compared to other restaurants post COVID. I also loved the service. We were sat promptly. A server brought us out waters and took our beverage orders. A waitress came by right after that. She checked in on us multiple times. We could see she was busy but she always took the time to check in on us. What could have been improved? The food. I had biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were fine, but honestly, that gravy was not good. Grainy, not sure what the flavor was, but I would not call it sausage flavor. I was really disappointed by these. We also had the sausage and eggs. It was fine, but we usually clean our plates and this time it was, 'eh, I'm good'. You'll definitely want to add some salt and pepper. If they can get the food quality up to match the ambiance and the service, then this place could be great.
