Enjoy inspired Northwest cuisine in the heart of the Willamette Valley’s wine country. The Blue Goat serves up rustic wood-fired cookery. A massive earthen wood-fired oven, built by Oregon artist Kiko Denzer, serves as the centerpiece of both the menu and the restaurant. Chef Thomas Ghinazzi sources ingredients from farms in the Willamette Valley, and everything is made in-house. All food is cooked to order, and vegan, vegetarian and dietary needs or preferences can be accomodated. Stop in for lunch, dinner or dessert. House crafted cocktails, Oregon wine and draught beers and non-alcoholic beverages are available from the bar.

Yummy pizza
I ordered one pizza while travelling solo and found it to be absolutely delicious. I would recommend Blue Goat whenever you are in Amity.

Picked Up Food Last Minute
Great place to go if you love fresh ingredients! The pizza was gourmet and smaller in size but delicious. My wife and I loved the smoked wings and hamburger with fries.

Small but delicious
We were staying at a bed and breakfast in the area. We were looking for something close. We were thrilled to find this restaurant. It’s located in a small space that has been rehabbed nicely. The portions are not large but they well done. The drinks were great and the staff wasn’t friendly.

Good not great
Beet salad appetizer as the best thing we had. Risotto arancini balls had liquidy cheese in the center when cut into which was disappointing (and messy). Beet/apple soup was good. Lamb burger was just ok. Chocolate hazelnut torte may have been made a day or 2 esrlier... just didn't seem fresh. Rockfish tacos could have been more flavorful. Service was average...had to request water for the table.

Terrible Service
We followed another party into the restaurant and were seated in the next booth. The waitress took our order and served us our beverages. The restaurant was not too busy, maybe about half full. We expected a reasonable wait but when the party that was seated just before us was served we expected our meals would be up shortly. We waited and waited. Soon the party ahead of us finished their meal, paid the bill and left. All the time we are still sitting, waiting for our food. I hailed the waiter and asked him to check on our meal. I saw some scrambling in the open kitchen. It was apparent that our order had been misplaced and they were just now preparing it. After some apologies and an offer of free dessert and a discount on our ticket, we were finally served about one hour after we ordered. The food was good but the service was awful. Be advised.
