Entitlement is not customer service oriented
I generally do not write reviews. However, when I work 12 hour days, and do not feel like cooking, I look for takeout. The second time that I visited their establishment, I was met with a: 5'3", black haired, and brown eyed - Spanish speaking woman that did not get my order right. She had tried to charge me for $29.40 for three shredded beef tacos. When she asked for payment, I questioned why it was that much? She replied, "That is the price." So i asked, "Well, what did you think that I ordered?" She had gotten the order wrong is the point. They fixed the situation, however I noticed that any time I came through I got the look. It was as though they thought I was belittling one of their own. Truth was, they had the order wrong. I won't pay for something that I did not order. Either way, I have noticed that any time I do stop in, from that moment on, that they look sideways at me. I have decided after the fourth time visiting, that I will not visit that location again. I am sure many visitors have had a better experience. However, I believe in consistency. If the food, and the service, are the same every single time that I visit - then they will always have my business. If you: mess up, do not own it, and then try to minimize the customer service to a patron - perhaps you do not think that your employees could ever be wrong? This is just my experience. However, I felt enough annoyance to write this review. I do hope that everyone else's experiences are better. If not, you are not alone in that experience. Sincerely, DM

Good Mexican food
Food was reasonably priced and delicious. They had a few veggie options. There is a salsa bar with pickled jalapenos and pickled carrots as well as mild to hot salsas. The food is made fresh and was fairly quick. The taco shells are freshly deep fried. They have everything from potato fillings to various meats and seafoods.

THE WORST
Never order a ground beef burrito, you will get a rolled up taco with wilted lettuce and cheese, the worst food I have ever had on the Oregon Coast. I will never eat at Oscars again, the food has gone insanely down hill!

Not the best
The best thing about Super Oscar’s food is the packaging it comes in. Coming from an area with many authentic Mexican restaurants and several Mexican fast food establishments, the food at Super Oscars is extremely disappointing. I’m local and have tried their food a minimum of 5 times - I won’t go back.

Worst food in Newport
All of us ordered plates. Our food was cold and the meat in the tacos was burnt and so dry you could not chew it. I took two pieces up to the counter and showed them. The girl at the counter said it was because they put the tacos in the deep fryer. Funny, my husband makes his own taco shells with meat in them and the meat has never been burnt and dried up hard like that, not to mention, the whole taco was cold. The rice was cold and had a bad taste. We will for sure never be going back here! We would have been better off going to taco bell :{<!-- -->
