    Good food, funny experience

We tried to eat at Super Oscars in Lincoln City the day before but it was closed for unknown reason. We went to beach in Newport and stopped here. We ordered Carne Asada fries ($11.50) Enchiladas burrito combo (~$10) The fries had tons of carne asada with a good size serving of guacamole and sour cream. It was yummy. I would order again. The combo was ok. The burrito was the best part. The enchilada cheese was not fully melted but still good. I would eat again, but likely order something different. While eating an older white guy came in asking weird questions in a loud voice that didn’t fit the restaurant vibe. Questions like “Do we order at the table or here”. It seemed clear to us that you order at the counter and not table. The man said he wanted to order the chili rellano and asked if they were frozen. The staff responded that all their meat is fresh and everything was made daily. He requested pico or hot sauce but would prefer pico. The staff were kind and respectful to him. After he sat down one staff called out something locos papa (crazy dad) to discuss his order. We thought it was bold of them to say that with him and us in the restaurant but also found it hilarious as we were thinking the same thing. They brought him his food and an extra cup of pico that he requested there upon delivery. Would recommend and return. Hope to see loci papa again as we got dinner and a show.

    Tasty Vegetable Burritos

We are vegan and were able to order vegetable burritos without cheese or sourcream. We had them to go since this was during COVID-19 restrictions.

    Such good food!

I was in town visiting my son and he took me here. He got a burrito and I got the carne asada tacos. Both were very good! My only wish is that the menu board had a brief description of what is in the burritos. I would definitely go back for more tacos!
