  Side Door is Top Notch!

  Reservation process is quick and easy. If a special occasion is noted, they honor it. We were celebrating an anniversary, and they could not have seated us at a nicer table! The entire staff is very attentive and kind. The food is excellent! Only drawback, some of their guests were wearing baseball hats and thought there were there for hotdogs.

  Gift certificate

  Bought a gift card as part of a wedding gift and expired before they got to use. Heads up . They nor I realized that would happen. Most have no expiration.

  Best crab cakes, best salad and best cioppino!

  This was my favorite restaurant when vacationing in Lincoln City. In fact we went back a second time it was so good. The crab cakes were outstanding. The cioppino had a lot of seafood in it could have been a little spicier but delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing. Salads are really fresh and loved the one with fresh hazelnuts grown in Oregon. The couple we were with also ordered the lamb chops and they had a lot of meat and looked plentiful. You need reservations if you want a good seat.

  A tip from the waiter?

  Not that kind of tip. Mike who was wonderful from start to finish told us about the happy hour at 330. Half price burgers including the halibut fish sandwich! We will have to check it out. Soon. If I’m wrong I’ll pull this review. The reason is we had a halibut fish sandwich and it was to die for! Giant piece of grilled fish that didn’t want to stay in the bun. Also had the seasonal salmon on a fresh salad. A lot of flavor pairings clearly crafted by pros. Salmon, halibut burger, 4 cocktails and a desert to go: 120$
