Wonderful Fish and Chips
Our family, including my wife and grown son, visited Gold Beach, Oregon, for 3 nights at the beginning of September 2025. We ate at the Port Hole Restaurant twice and enjoyed their very tasty, deep fried to perfection fish and chips very much both times. We also were pleased that while plenty of customers were already there both times, there was no waiting and service was prompt, pleasant and efficient. The atmosphere was nothing fancy; just well cared for and much loved local diner.

Great server- really bad food
The service was fast, server was great. It would have to rate as the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. Yep the Walmart boxed oven fish and chips are better. The ground steak and mushrooms with onion and gravy was pretty ordinary also. On a positive note the coors lite was good. We didn’t want to say anything to the staff- weird vibe in this place. Our server was great tho…….

Good Food
Food was very good. We had tacos and grilled fish sandwiches. Everyone was happy with their selection. French fries were crispy. The restaurant is on the water where boats come and go. Recommend for a food lunch.

Great food!!!
Great food. Service was lacking a little. Had a newer guy from Lithiuania. The wraps were SO good grilled. Best Buffalo chicken wrap I have had. Will definitely visit again if we are in the area!

Great job on fish and chips!
It was time for lunch, and we stopped here. What good luck! Fantastic job on red snapper fish and chips! As good as I've had and I live on the coast. Perfectly crisp without being oily. Turkey sandwich also excellent. Very friendly staff Don't pass it by, down by where jet boards load
