My friend and I had a wonderful dinner at the Public House while in town for the weekend—great food and delicious drinks! The band was awesome and the staff fun. The owner was gracious enough to mail my purse back to California when I left it on accident. Highly recommend this restaurant!

If you haven’t been there, you ought to go
My wife asked me where I wanted to go… to go for my birthday. In a way it was a blind pick… They have wonderful food, wonderful drinks and we had a great time

A great Pub
We have visited Oxenfre at least six times in the past 2 years. Each time the food and service have been great. I don’t understand the knocks against it. This is a Public House (AKA pub) so they focus on drinks. Yes the menu is limited. 10 items, but five or six that could be considered a meal. The burger and pastrami sandwich are excellent. Yes, 21 and over. It is on their FB page. They should update their TA profile.

No, this is NOT a restaurant. It’s a bar, drapes pulled, apparently has guitar music some nights. Bar food terrible. Big disappointment because it used to be a great, fun place. The owner said he couldn’t get food after covid but everyone else does sits a big, sad mystery.

Our friends had recommended Oxenfre Public House because he's had their steak before and said it was fantastic. They no longer serve steak and have a VERY limited bar menu; maybe 5 or 6 items. Needless to say, we had one drink and left.
