I can't say anything that hasn't already been said about this little cafe. The staff are nice and efficient. The decor is pleasant. And the food is really really good. I'd never had nasi goreng before, but I will have it again just because of this restaurant. Another day, I had their French toast, which is a bit unique in its own right. And very good. All in all, now I know why this place ahs such a good reputation. Friends in the area say that there is usually a line waiting to be seated---glad we went in the 'off season'!

Fantabulous!
First off....Danielle was perfectly personable and professional while keeping our family group of 8 amply fueled with coffee and supplied with a delightful array of delicious menu items. She was always present when needed and left us to our own devices otherwise being attentive but not obtrusive; the mark of a great server! Secondly, the food was out of this world! I had the Belgian waffle smothered in whipped cream and strawberries. It was simply the best I have had....anywhere!! And then there was the bacon that accompanied it; again, the best ever, anywhere. My only regret is living on east coast so I can't return regularly!! Note: several Of my family partook in the Eggs Benedict which looked amazing and they confirmed that it tasted as good as it looked!

Very rude when we first walked in. No sign saying wait to be seated, so we proceeded to sit down. Abraded by the manager to wait. Finally got seated and waited quite awhile for someone to take order. Then waited over an hour for food to arrive. Will not return. I don’t care how good food is

(Partially) Hidden Gem
The Osprey Cafe is a little restaurant well off of the Main Street of Seaside. Sooo far off that the Promenade ends a block from its door, but due to Trip Advior reviews we decided to walk there for breakfast. About 2 kilometers from our hotel. We arrived about 10 minutes after opening, and the place is full! We end up outside, which is probably the better option as the weather is good and it’s quiet. Service was quick and friendly in spite of the distance. The food was of high quality and we can recommend smoked salmon scramble and the avocado toast. Highly recommend this end to a morning promenade
