  Oar House will Rock your Boat !

  Great local spot, excellent food, great service and atmosphere! We tried the Ahi nest with pita chips - excellent. I had the lobster Mac- out of this world! Wife had the shrimp Louie salad - very good, lots of flavor and a big pile of shrimp. I recommend this place for great menu, excellent food ( props to the Chef) and pricing.

  Local's Favorite Restaurant.

  I love this place! This is our date night, special occasion, or just driving by and needing a bite to eat, go-to restaurant! The food is prepared by a wonderful chef/owner. His wife manages the front of the house. They are the dream team! Wonderful service, great food, and some of the best people in Pacific City! Don't skip the dessert, some of the best unique desserts I have ever had....soooo good! Go there, eat, relax, have a drink and enjoy.

  Great restaurant in Pacific City!

  Such a great find in Pacific City! We’ve been to the city many times but never to this restaurant. The food was amazing!! We got the pork belly and pork chop special and it was incredible!! So good we went back for breakfast this next day which was an equally amazing culinary experience!! Bloody Mary bar (make your own), corned beef hash, chorizo scramble, crusted French toast with banana caramel sauce, biscuits and gravy….. in addition to the food, the waitress/bartender and cook were very nice, friendly and hospitable. We might go back a third time before we leave!!

  Worth it to drive off the beaten path, delicious food

  Bar tender seated us right away, even though they were set to close in 15 minutes. I ordered an excellent corned beef sandwich and my husband and I shared a corn clam chowder. Portions were generous, staff was helpful. We were surprised at the near Seattle prices however, $25 for fish and chips :-) plenty of parking and off the main drag of busy Pacific City. Totally worth it to go out of our way and leave the crowds at Cape Kiwanda.

  Great bar and restaurante, completley inappropriate hostess.

  Great food and cider!! However, when we entered the hostess said that there was a shirt policy and that I must cover up, I grinned and said that I would comply. I've been out if the country for four years and would not let this human get in the way of my Dungeness! I posted a photo of what I was wearing. She was completely out of line and inappropriate to try to shame me. The rest of the staff and experience was wonderful. Although, as we left she made sure to make a snide remark about me being warm. I've shared this with others who know of the establishment. Rumer has it, this is her normal attitude. Many avoid the restaurant. I was also told it is hard to keep staff because of her. Get rid of her! If she is an owner, keep her in the back.
