Still the Best Clam Chowder along the Oregon Coast
We had amazing food and service from Mo's in Astoria. I LOVE their clam chowder... something about the spices, the texture, the freshly sourced clams and ingredients just "make it better." Cherie, our server was so friendly and attentive. We loved watching the sea lions and cormorants "fishing" just off the deck from where we sat and being able to watch the boat traffic traverse under the bridge too and from. Great food, great service, what more do you need?

Eatery with fast service
A friend and I ate there twice, once for dinner and once for lunch. We both liked the crispy shrimp and the onion rings. I liked the clam chowder very much. My friend said her Alfredo with shrimp was tasty. For me, the fish and chips (panko-crusted cod) were okay (neither bad nor over-the-top good). Lastly, my friend was not super impressed with the shrimp-topped cabbage salad. In all, the eatery was good with fast service, but some of the dishes were just okay.

Worst chowder
We ordered the famous clam chowder which only had a whiff of clams in it and we ordered it in the pot which was the bread and the bread was stale. One of the worst clam chowder's I've ever had. The only saving grace at this restaurant were the lovely and friendly staff.

Coolest Life
Best clamp chowder ever! No seriously. The rest of the food was good and the view of the Columbia is great. Beet is cold and the service was speedy and friendly. See our YouTube channel Coolest Life.

Lovely spot on the mighty Columbia River
Very enjoyable lite lunch. We got here at 11:30 Sunday ahead of the lunch crowd. Sat outside with our doodle dog on a pleasant day. The entire staff were friendly and accommodating. Just ordered the chowder and garlic bread with tea which was tasty and served quickly. Waterfront views with merchant ships passing by and sea lions frolicking. Would go again for sure and get deeper into the menu.
