Another great meal
Who eats clam chowder in a bread bowl for breakfast? One does at Monkey Business. Also ordered an additional clam chowder to go. Great restaurant, easy parking, lots of happy customers.

Rave review. Awesome Food. A+
There is a full breakfast menu. Crab Benedict is served Sunday and Monday all day. Kathy is great at front of the house. Polite, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and local sites. We returned for lunch to try additional dishes, including their award winning clam chowder. Seriously delicious food. (Closed Tuesday/Wed) Attractive Dining Room.

Monkey Business Charleston Oregon
We had the clam chowder and Fish tacos. It was really good. The clam chowder was full of clams and very fresh. It was a medium consistency and very creamy. It was some of the most flavorful clam chowder I eaten. The fish tacos were fresh and the salsa and sauce made them taste like something from Baja Mexico. I’d definitely go back again. My wife said that she thinks it’s some of the best chowder she’s had. She want to go back this week for round 2.

Monkey Business Food to Go is fantastic!
Great place to stop and eat! The staff is very friendly and nice to talk with. The food is excellent from clam strips, fish and chips to fish tacos. We would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in stopping by.

Fish tacos and chowder worth a detour
I actually ate at Monkey Business twice yesterday, the food was so great and the people so really friendly and nice. They advertise the 'best fish tacos you've ever had".. and they were right!!! Really excellent light crispy batter, delicious slaw like vegies and great sauces. Their award winning clam chowder is the best I've had on the Oregon coast.. not super thick, lots of clams and good flavor balance in the chowder. The menu includes non-seafood items.. burgers and a delicious pulled port. One of us had pulled pork on french fries.. very yummy. This place is in the marina of the small fishing village of Charleston. A great place to go and then visit the Marine Life Center.. and aquarium and museum connected to the University of Oregon Marine Institute near Pacific Seafood) OR a stop on your way out to the many gorgeous sites, beaches and gardens on Cape Arago. It's also worth a detour from Coos Bay on your way to Bandon. It's a little hard to find.. just turn at the light in Charleston and then toward the marina when you get to Pacific Seafood. It's the yellow building near the docks. Delicious!!
