So many times I come here for decent Japanese food only to be turned off by the rowdy music and loud talking of employees with each other. As if their parents never taught them to use "restaurant voices" and customers don't deserve a pleasant atmosphere to eat. Could be they've grown up without knowing eating as a pleasureable act, but instead just pound down whatever food is in between them and the loud TV? The hard floors and lack of window coverings doesn't help. Absolutely NO atmosphere, borders in on dingy but they did finally get new booths or covered the old. I've been to two other Momije and never felt this.

Momiji - North Bend, OR 12–06-2022 1:38 PM. Ordered sushi combo “Jo-sushi.”$24. I live in Yachats and eat at the Newport Momiji 2 times a week and order the same dish with consistent palatable results. I’ve eaten in the North Bend store a few times and each time with declining results. The fish slices today were thick, tough, not fresh nor sushi grade. I hate to waste food but I couldn’t eat it. Last North Bend Momiji visit.

My wife and I very much enjoy takeout from Momiji North Bend. See photo. We have a plank that spans the front seat in my truck across our laps. We bring our own soy sauce and dipping bowls. Momiji supplies plenty of wasabi ... which we request Service and food quality have always been quite good, and I’d estimate we do our “sushi fix” every 2 months .... for 4 years now, 2017-2021! We travel west briefly to get an ocean view to park and chow! Wonderful sushi, enjoyable meal, happy taste buds! Steve PS. The photo is from July, but we do this every 2 months .... and it will continue.

Very Good!
We were staying at The Mill and Momiji is right across the street. They delivered it right to us! It was very good and decently priced! Just make sure they give you all the supplies to eat sushi if you're staying in the hotel!! Might want to ask for extra soy sauce, too!

We had the Teryiaki chicken bento box with a side order of salmon rolls. The Chicken was little mild for my taste. salad and Miso soup was spot on and gyoza was good. Good service nice experience
