This is our favorite go-to dinner and after-plays drink spot in Ashland. Martino's has reliably good food served professionally, friendly, and efficiently. It's a reasonable menu -- not too fancy but intricate enough! And, it's reasonably priced -- you're eating out but in a neighborhood-ish way. Another outstanding feature of Martino's is its location on the plaza with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival theaters. This lets you have a full meal before sauntering over to see a night time show. More importantly, stop in after a show to enjoy a cocktail and rub shoulders with the night's performers. Or at least watch them unwind! We love Martino's because of it's friendliness and people. It feels friendly, upbeat, and a genuine part of the town.

We had a wonderful experience. The food was good and the staff was extremely nice and helpful.
My husband and I were in Ashland to see an evening play. Earlier in the day we decided to eat dinner at Martino's Upstairs based on the menu posted outside their restaurant. We called to make a reservation. The message said that they would call us back after 4pm to comfirm, and they did just that. We got a call right after 4pm. We ate on the patio, the service was good even though they were busy. My husband had Chicken Fetticuine and I had Minestrone soup (Excellent!) and a salad. Here is the most important part (to me). Sometime during that evening, I lost my diamond necklace. Who knows where. After we got home, in CA a couple of days later, and as a last resort, I called Martino's just to see, maybe, if someone had found my necklace. Yes!! The janitor had found it on the patio. They called back right away. We made arrangements to get it back to me (I sent them a postage paid envelope). They put it in the mail as soon as they received my envleope. Such nice people!!! I can't tell you how much I appreciate their kindness. We go to Ashland twice a year to see the plays. Martino's will definitely be a part of our next trip. I want to experience more of what they have to offer and I want more of their Minestrone soup.

Food was cold we returned and gave us the same meatballs, atmosphere is ok , we sat out side there’s a lot of flies and you can’t eat in peace. Service was not the best looks like they have only two girls working the whole restaurant and they can’t handle it . When you are outside the restaurant you can smell the garlic bread and that’s what we went but we are very disappointed. ☹️

Nice Italian restaurant
We sat in the pleasant outdoor patio. The service was good. We had a healthy salad and pasta dishes. There were large portions that were delicious.
