We love the Lucky Fortune Cafe. The food is authentic and delicious. The owners are very friendly and strive to give excellent food and service. The restaurant is always immaculate and the decor is lovely. We travel through La Pine often and always plan our trip dates so we can enjoy dinner at Lucky Fortune. We have enjoyed many dinners since they opened. Everything is delicious.

We were the only customers dining in, which was a shame because the food and service were both outstanding. I was glad to see that a number of people were picking up sizeable takeout orders, and I hope that the community appreciates what a gem this restaurant is.

The food is five star
The only reason I gave this 4 stars is that the ambiance is wanting - there really is no decor but there is Chinese music coming from a boom box. Other than that, the service and food were excellent. My wife had mushu chicken and I had Mandarin chicken. Both were excellent. And, believe me, two adults can get away with sharing one appetizer and one entree - they're huge!

Great food and service
We had eaten here before and were not impressed. New owners and now we were very impressed, great customer service loved the owners 2 children that were helping out . The food was excellent portion was huge, try them you will like them

New Owners, Great food, Excellent Service
New Owners! The menu selections are familiar and lunch is a great value with huge portions. Have to get a box to take home the leftovers for the next day! Nice, hard working people put out great food and excellent service! We have been 4 or 5 times now and it is our new favorite place for Chinese Food when we are in the area.
