Ok, I did my homework and read up on all the reviews before we arrived. We were greeted by a very kind gentleman and seated right away. The service was beyond what we expected. We felt like family by the time we paid our tab. Speaking of the tab, we were very impressed with the prices with the quality of service, cleanliness of the establishment (even the bathrooms), and the freshness of the food. The salsa and chips were perfect. I had the prawn enchiladas and my son had the cheese quesadilla (he said it was the best ever). My husband had the Ranchera. We had some drinks and a great conversation with the owner. They have been here over 30 years. We headed to the beach to meet our friends. Would you believe it? We headed back to get some more great food and service after watching the beautiful sunset. With two more guests, we were greeted like family and had amazing margaritas, I had the prawns Diablo and my husband had the carnitas. The boy had another cheese quesadilla. Our friends had the prawn enchiladas and suiza. We couldn't leave without trying the flan and churros. The place was hopping and we had the best service. We would have come back for a few more meals before heading home, but we ended up heading up North for the day. We will be back, already booked our next stay next month and can't wait to try something else on the menu.

We got takeout. Possibly most expensive basic Mexican I've ever had and the fish tacos were flavorless and soggy! French fries were also not crispy, and salsa was way too spicy. SO disappointing. Everything was packed in styrofoam (banned in Oregon, bad for the planet, bad for humans, and so wasteful). As of January 2025 all restaurants must stop using!!

Been here twice & did take out twice: Absolutely lovely family. Outstanding service. Food: not for me, sorry; not my Mexican cuisine. Why: been there (Mexico), also had excellent food in CA. It’s typical fare. If friends insist, I’ll go. Otherwise, no. Apparently works for the majority.

Great Mexican Food
We are transplants from Southern California and are always looking for great Mexican food. This place is great! It’s family owned and run, the service is very friendly, and the food is delicious. Everything is fresh and made from scratch there. Even their salsa is unusually good. You don’t want to miss this place!
