Don’t order food when they’re busy!
We used to love this place and just visited after being gone for a year. It was a busy night and had to wait in a long line at the bar to order food and drinks. It took 80 minutes to get our steaks, and they were lukewarm because they were understaffed and didn’t serve them right away. Also, the steaks and burgers used to include sides. Now you pay extra even though the prices haven’t changed. We paid $100 for two small steaks, one potato and one salad! Go somewhere else for dinner and then come over for a drink to enjoy the atmosphere.

A disappointment.
I’ve been waiting years to try this place for prime rib. Tonight we went there as a special occasion! My wife and I each ordered 8oz prime rib. $27 each, with absolutely no sides at all. Fries, etc were an additional $4. Service was slow but they did appear busy with a group in back. The building was freezing, well maybe 60 degrees, and everyone was wearing coats while trying to dine. The meat portions arrived and were very thin, but probably the advertised 8oz. Both were only slightly warm and one consisted of fat comprising a good 25% of the portion. These prices would be expected in a place that was warm, had good ambiance and didn’t hand you a fork wrapped in a cheap paper napkin and foil wrapped butter packets to dress your potato. We will not be returning.

Great place to eat!
A great place to eat. Great service. Friendly employees. And the food, oh my goodness. Yum Yum!!! We had smoked burnt pork ends and sweet potato fries for appetizers. Our party had the Beef Rib special, the Chicken-fried Chicken dinner, and the Brine Smoked 1/2 chicken special. Each dinner came with two sides each. We took half of the food home for dinner the next day. Still yummy.

DO NOT RECOMMEND
We have been going to Kirks ferry for 7 months every time we have had no service to our table beside the food being brought out. Our last visit the cashier lost my debt card and giggle about it. Tonight was the last straw my wife ordered a salad and I ordered the smoked ribs. They gave us blue cheese ranch instead of ranch no big deal except she can't eat it the took her food back and never returned. Food was expensive and sub par really disappointed this is our 7th visit and each time it has gotten worse. The bartender she was the best and check on us 3 times while the wait staff giggled in the kitchen. Again just disappointed. Try the Brownsville saloon for a better atmosphere and food

Food sub par and no masks in spite of mask mandate
We went to have prime rib on Friday night. The prime rib came with two sides and we ordered a salad and mashed potatoes and gravy. The hot food was served 5 minutes after the salads arrived. The gravy was a white gravy with sausage (I think it was canned Costco gravy). The prime ribs was flavorless. No employees or patrons were wearing masks although the mask mandate was in place starting that day.The menu was posted on a board and you ordered at the front cashier. We were excited to try this restaurant but won't return.
