Reasonably priced, delicious Chinese food Huge portions! We could have easily shared. Spring rolls are delicious! Worth the stop if you're passing thru town

Great food!
Ed and I went to Hot Point for dinner, and ate in. We each had a cup of egg flower (egg drop) soup, and ordered a plate of crab puffs (what we call rangoon). My soup didn't have a lot of egg in it, but it had great flavor. The crab puffs were very good, but there are TWELVE of them in an order! Far too many for the two of us! We shared an order of Mongolian Beef with steamed rice. It was spicy, but a good spicy... the kind that makes your lips burn a little and your tummy happy a lot! (We did pick out the red peppers in order to mitigate the worst of the heat - after all, we're not teenagers any more!) With hot tea and water to drink, our bill came in at just over $21. Combine all of this with friendly service, and you've got a winning combination!

Fantastic!
Came in for dinner last night and was seated immediately. Waitress was very sweet and efficient. We had the No 4 combination with fried shrimp, kung pao chicken, and crab puffs and the hot and sour soup,, and the orange chicken with egg flower soup. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. While we were eating, we discussed what we would try on our next trip. All of the staff made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meals. We will definitely return.

Spicy Food
Ive eaten in many Chinese restaurants, but this one actually listened to my order, and prepared my food the way I wanted it. I asked them to make me cry and they seriously tried. It was the most wonderful meal I've had in years. The staff was friendly and efficient (yes, I was there at 3pm, so that helps, but I watched as they fielded 9 or 10 take out orders also) My vegetables were hot, but still firm, instead of overcooked. The rice was still steaming when they brought it to the table. The Tofu has been frozen before it was prepared (lightly fried), to give it some body, and when the cook found out I was going to eat the hot peppers peppers, he cut them into bite sized pieces before he tossed them into the meal. This is what Chinese food is supposed to be! It is lacking the traditional pictures of China, the cork carvings, and the melodies of the Erhu, choosing, instead, to stick with art and music that most people will recognize. If you are looking for ambience, you may be disappointed with the simple decorations and American music, but the food will bring me back again and again.

Don't waste your money or time
This establishment has POOR food and service. Walked in at 2:55 p.m. at 3:01 was informed they would not honor lunch menu pricing. The "spoon" served with bowl of soup was a very large serving spoon. Asked for a small spoon and waitress did not understand English. Crackers were very stale. Safeway deli is far better
