One of the best in Bend for Mexican food and margaritas
We celebrated a special occasion recently with some dear friends. My usual go-to is the Hola in Camp Sherman, but it's closed for the winter, so we tried this one. It did not disappoint. Tableside guacamole was delish. And my Marcos Pollo, hit all the high notes with one minor exception. I would have liked to see a bit more corn and black beans in the rice. Hola serves the best margaritas in central Oregon, though Diegos is a close second. My fave is the Red Cactus but the Super is also super-duper. A definite do-again.

Awful experience. Stay away!
Hola Restaurant Bend Awful. Stay away! 903084966 Waited 1 and 1/2 hrs for dinner. We had ordered drinks and simply requested that the kitchen give us a bit of time to have our cocktails before bringing the plates. An hour plus later, we had to flag down the absent waiter — who had FORGOTTEN our order. 30 minutes later, no dinner. We tried to cancel the order at that point, which promoted the waiter to immediately come over and begin ARGUING with us. To add insult to injury, he VERY STUBBORNLY insisted that it was our fault, because he was so busy. No apologies for the inconvenience or massive delay. I’ve never met a server with such an apathetic, unfriendly and openly hostile attitude towards customers. We still cannot believe this response and we’ll never visit this chaotic joint again. An awful experience. Summary: Eat someplace else… ! I

Fun Place
Frankly, this wasn't our first choice the night we went there but couldn't get a reservation until late. The manager at Hola encouraged us to come and told us they could find us a spot. It turned out to be a good alternative. It's a little small but they have additional seating in an adjacent area. It's on the noisy side but that doesn't bother us. It was a fun crowd and the service was terrific. My Peruvian style tamales were really good and my wife had the Peruvian stew which she liked. I would recommend it to anyone.

Disappointing. Cold and flavorless.
We were disappointed with our lunch dishes, quite small for the price. The sides of beans and rice were cold and the chicken chimichanga was bland and dry, just shredded chicken, not flavor what so ever. Not the restaurant it was a couple years ago. We were the only ones there, I feel they’ve cut back to the bare minimum to keep the doors opens. El Caporal, El Rodeo and El Mazaltan and Barrio are better options.
