Love Indian food
It has been years since we have been able to eat here. So happy we stopped by for lunch. CHECK THEIR HOURS ON THEIR WEBSITE! We started off with an Appetizer Platter. It was pretty good but wasn’t sure what we were eating exactly. Then I had Hyderabadi Lamb, my husband had Chicken Tikka Masala, with Basmati Rice and Naan Bread. The Lemonade was terrific! We will return before we head south in September.

Don't Bother Unless You Have Lots of Time On Your Hands
Waited for nearly an hour and finally left. Only 6 other folks in the restaurant when we got there, not served either. Meanwhile watched lots of take-out going out the door. Would have loved to try it but my time is worth something too. Frustrating. I'm sorry they can't keep up.

Interesting experience
This was an interesting experience all around. First, you have to pay for your food and tip for a sit down restaurant before any service. I don’t like that because a tip should be be based on the service provided. We ordered chicken tikka masala and the tandoori chicken. The food was average. We also ordered the mango lassi and the chai tea before the meal. Both drinks came with our last bites of our meal. We were the first to order our food this night. This is another reason you should not be asked to top before the meal is provided. I would say pass on this place. We have eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants around the world, definitely not the best.

Good Indian food along Highway 101
Awesome Indian food. at Astoria. It is difficult to find Indian Restaurants along Highway 101. It is good to have a good restaurant like Himani in the area. The taste and quality of food was awesome. Food quality was good on a busy day during the long weekend.
