Worth the wait
Long wait to get a table Long wait to get water Long wait to place our order Not a very long wait to get clam chowder, oysters, fish tacos & pumpkin coconut curry halibut - worth the wait. Delicious as always. Probably one of the best lunch/dinners we've had. Never have had a bad meal here. This was probably our longest wait because it was a King Tides day.

Excellent service, excellent food
KayLee served us an excellent dinner. Seafood pasta, clam chowder, fish tacos, and fried zucchini. Even with a full house our service was great and the food was excellent. A really nice meal.

Came in for breakfast
We came in for breakfast. Order was taken pretty quick. while waiting for our food, I was overwhelmed with Christmas music and even LOUDER Rap music coming from the kitchen. It was very uncomfortable. Once our food got there, we ate fast to get out of there. The food was okay, just your regular breakfast fare. We waited awhile to get our check, probably because the waitress on her phone, laughing loudly with the cook. I don't think we will return.

Disappointing, unwelcoming, and overpriced.
Gracie's Sea Hag Restaurant's feels homey and welcoming from the moment you walk in -- exactly the opposite of my experience. Typically, when a customer orders a $29 dinner entree, it is preceded by a small salad or cup of soup. And a basket of bread is customary as well. Not at Gracie's. My husband and I sat there staring at each other for almost twenty minutes -- stupefied because we had only our two glasses of water to savor as we watched the other diners enjoying their food. No, we didn't order any alcohol (and we instantly noticed a strange vibe from our waitress upon declining), but we had no idea our two meals (totaling $57 BEFORE TIP) included nothing but the plate. Awkward and very unwelcoming I'd like to add. When I flagged down a restaurant staff member to inquire where our soup, salad, or bread might be, our waitress intervened and politely explained that bread was not included, nor was soup or salad. Everything was available at an additional charge. My $29 meal (and spouse's $28 meal) were rather like appetizers as well. Mine included very small bites of fish, a couple of scallops, and a few TINY clams that were slightly larger than pearls. I understand costs have skyrocketed these past few years thanks to COVID and inflation, but honestly, this kind of hospitality is the kind that makes a level-minded person stop eating out -- even on a birthday (that's why we chose to try Gracie's). Sadly, like so many restaurants these days, Gracie's is also on my ONE & DONE list.

Very Bad Service -
TERRIBLE SERVICE!! We were fine with the 20 minute wait that they told us - we were a party of 8 and it was Friday night. But it was 45 minutes before we were seated - and then we received neither water nor menus (okay - there was ONE menu on the table!) for another half hour. The server, when she finally showed up, was abrupt and service was slow. Food was decent, but none of us in the group will go back!
