Excellent stop for high quality coffee and pastry!
Excellent, clean, high quality, old school bakery vibe with attention to detail and quality of both coffee and pastry items. Loved it!

If you love cake, it’s worth the stop.
My favorite dessert is cake. So, I had to go and pick up a slice on my way through Salem. I chose “Barney’s Blackout”, cause I’m a dark chocolate cake lover. There are so many flavors to choose from and the cake slice size is generous. If you love cake, don’t pass this place up!

Legit Cake! But not the carrot cake.
This place is fantastic, most cakes have five layers, they are moist, the frosting is light and fluffy really good stuff. The after school cake, the marion berry cake are both great, the carrot cake not so much. There are two kinds of carrot cake, the moist stuff with raisins and the cinnamon crap that doesn't quite do it this is the latter. At $7 a slice you get a nice size piece of cake that's well worth it.

Cake Lover Paradise
For those like me who love a slice of homemade cake, this bakery was a fantastic discovery. They have an awesome variety of cakes, from classic to more innovative flavors, making it very difficult for someone to make a choice! The cake slice portions are huge, so (unfortunately!), you are only able to eat one slice per meal. The bakery also serves breakfast and lunch. I had a slice of the Champagne Raspberry cake and it was very delicate, moist and yummy. In my next visit to Salem, I will definitively go back to Gerry Frank's Konditorei to try other cakes!
