November 26, 2023Angelo PWORST PIZZA EVER FOR THIS ITALIAN AFTER HAVING EATEN THEIR FOOD PREVIOUSLY
We have lived in the Four Corner's neighborhood for a few years now and have ordered pizza from this establishment a number of times in the past. It has always been a higher quality pizza ,imo, because it HAS TO for ME. Just for the record, I am half Italian and my dad had two Italian restaurants when I was a wee lad back in the 60's so I am VERY picky about pizza and have only ordered it from two very select places here in Salem until NOW. THIS TIME IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!! I HOPE THE OWNER SEE'S THIS!!!! We have all experienced some "shrinkflation" over the past few years but this is HEINOUS!!!! IT WAS NOT COOKED LONG ENOUGH! THE @^%$# CRUST WAS NOT CRUNCHY AND THEY ARE NO LONGER USING MOZZERELA CHEESE, NOT TO MENTION THE SCARCITY OF TOPPINGS!!!! I COULD BARELY EAT TWO PIECES!! All that nothing pizza for $37 ?!?!?!??!?!! YOU PEOPLE CAN SHOVE IT.....

Best Italian food I have had in a long time, out side my wife's that is. Great home cooked meal, We had Spaghetti , Ravioli s, and Lasagna plus home made Italian sausage and meat balls. yes we brought about half home. Moderately priced, Excellent place to go, Service was excellent.

We went for lunch on a Monday with our clients. It was nicely decorated inside with a full bar. The server was really nice. We kept hearing the microwave start and stop a couple times, the food took forever to come out and we were the only ones in the restaurant. The food finally came and the pasta combinations had so much sauce you couldn’t tell what the lasagna was and what the ravioli was. The chicken Parmesan sandwich was so thin and dry and the breading stuck to the bread and had no flavor. The best part of the meal was the fries and ranch. The bread before the meal was dry and cold. My co worker loved her pizza and the other one loved the spaghetti. I would come back and try the pizza.

I live in Salem. I have gone to Geppetto's literally since the first 3 days the restaurant opened. I have eaten pizza all over the US, in England, Brugge, Chicago, Canada, France , Spain, and Italy. I love pizza. GEPPETTOs makes wonderful pizza and really good Italian food. My son, who is now 30+, has eaten there since the first year he w as s born. All of the succeeding owners have continued to use "Momma's" recipes from the mother of the original owner's mother. I've eaten all over the American and European continents. Geppettos matches and exceeds the quality and flavors marvelously. If you don't like their food, don't go to Italy. It is true that all long lasting restaurants struggle as owners change. New staff comes on, available supplies change. . .but, anyone who regularly travels knows restaurants change. . .and VERY few last a long time without quality. Geppettos has proven itself. If you don't like it your favorite restaurant is probably some fast food hamburger joint.

We love the comfortable atmosphere and staff when we return to Salem and Geppeto's. We have been here for lunch and dinner and always are pleased with our food choices and the restaurants service. We will return.
