We dined at the Garden View Restaurant twice as part of a dinner-and-breakfast package at the Oregon Garden Resort, and both experiences were largely very good. Dinner was a treat. The package included an entree each and a choice of one of three house wines by the bottle, or a dessert to share in lieu of the wine. The portions were gargantuan, genuinely impressive even by today's generous restaurant standards. We also ordered a shared appetizer, cocktails, and mocktails, and prices throughout were reasonable for what you get. The menu options are thoughtfully varied, covering vegan, gluten-free, and omnivore diners, so a multigenerational or mixed-diet group will find something for everyone. When one steak came out underdone, the kitchen fixed it immediately and without any fuss. That kind of no-harm-no-foul response to an honest mistake is exactly what you want from a restaurant. The staff deserves a mention too: plentiful, friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout both meals. Service never felt rushed or neglected. The breakfast buffet the following morning offered the same impressive variety. Again, there is genuinely something for everyone, and the spread is abundant. One real drawback worth flagging: accessibility. The restaurant has stairs and can feel crowded, which makes it difficult for guests using mobility devices. During the breakfast buffet, when the downstairs dining room has plenty of open space, it would make a meaningful difference to seat able-bodied guests downstairs and reserve the upstairs tables and booths for those who need easier access. A small operational change that would go a long way. The food and value here are well above average. Sort out the accessibility and this is an easy five stars.

The Restaurant is located inside the Oregon Garden Resort. It is comfortable with wonderful views of the Oregon Gardens. The menu is somewhat limited but offers beef, fish and vegan entrees. I had the center cut rib eye which was cooked to perfection. My friend had the black cod, served with linguini cooked in a cream sauce with capers and sun dried tomatoes. It was very good. A chocolate ganache for dessert was the perfect end to a wonderful meal. The service was great and the staff professional and friendly. We did make a reservation and the prices were comparable to other dining rooms.

We had lunch at the Garden View restaurant. The food was great and the service was excellent! Spencer was very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed, and made sure my dietary request met my expectations. Thank you Spencer!!

Good meal, friendly service
We arrived early for our reservation and were seated immediately. The dining has large windows that overlook the Oregon Garden and the valley below. Our meal was very good and service was quick and friendly.

Spencer: 10/10 Highly recommend!
Spencer was friendly, quick, kind and pleasant! He was the only server on the floor when he arrived and he diligently tended to all the tables that had patrons.
