We always go there for breakfast when travelling in that area. Probably the best breakfast cafe I know of and I travel a lot. Parking can be tight. Service is just outstanding.. Menu is huge. Food is always the best.

Wonderful breakfast!
For a unique, well Prepared breakfast the Egg River Cafe is the place to go in Hood River ( with Bette’s) . The dishes are excellent as is the service. Their take on huevos rancheros is unique and excellent and their homemade salsa picsnte had some heat (that I appreciated) . Their portions are generous and you won’t heave hungry. Service is excellent. Recommended highly when in good River.

Well worth the stop
Wonderful food very friendly staff. Breakfeast served all day lunch and dinner. I had the avacado salmon toast with a poached egg..so so good! Husband had chicken strips and fries which he really enjoyed. They also have alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and make their own milkshakes and smoothies . Parking is tight and very limited but there is a lot across the street

The biggest thing I would say if you have never been here before. Do not sit in their outside patio, they seat you out there and absolutely forget about you. Waited over 45 minutes just to order, no coffee no water nothing. Awful service.

Good Service, awful food.
The server was very nice. Okay, that being said: absolutely the WORST biscuits and gravy I've ever had. It was to the effect of Pioneer gravy mix and something worse than Pillsbury, and they charged me $11 for it. I have never been that close to outright refusing to pay. 0 out of 10; never going back.
