The opening of the first Oregon location of popular Taiwanese restaurant Din Tai Fung is one of the most anticipated openings in the Portland region in a long time. Located in the Tualatin Valley, Din Tai Fung is best known for its xiaolongbao (soup dumplings); however, the menu is full of other Taiwanese specialties, including hand-pulled noodles, rice dishes and soups. Each dish is served family-style and is intended to be shared with friends and family.
Located in Washington Square, Din Tai Fung brings new meaning to “window shopping.” While browsing the mall, watch the dumplings being made from a picture window.
