Great beer, wonderful outside seating, very slow food service
While the beer and outside seating is wonderful the food service is the slowest, we've ever encountered. Three visits over the last couple years and the wait for food, SOOOOO slow and mistakes in every order. Yes, when we finally received our food, it was good, despite the 45-50 minute wait every time and the mistakes. Just plan to sit back and not be in any hurry.

Don’t miss this gem of a restaurant!!!
We were driving the Mt Hood Loop and lucked out on finding this great restaurant and lodge. Susan gave us wonderful service and James the chef was nice enough to come by the table for a quick chat. We tried a few small plates and some wine ( house reserve red) all was fabulous. Best French fries we have ever had, with Rosemary and shredded Romano and a chipotle aioli to die for. Drunken peach and goat cheese bites, bacon bourbon bombs and soup of the day all delicious. Wish we knew about the lodge, we would be staying on site. James , we will be back soon. The outdoor seating adds to the atmosphere and there is a very crooked tree just fyi!

Delicious
Seasonal menu with delicious food and drinks that are locally sourced. We got a salmon wrap and sugar snap pea and bacon alfredo, both delicious. What more do you need?

Perfect spot for dinner after a long hike up to Eliot Glacier on Mt Hood
After a challenging hike to Eliot Glacier it is always a treat to head down to Crooked Tree Tavern for dinner. The staff, especially Aaron, are friendly and attentive. All Covid-19 protocols are in place and we definitely felt safe dining at this eatery. My husband & I ordered the secret recipe Margaritas and found them absolutely divine. For our first course we shared the house mixed green salad served with a yummy lemon-basil vinaigrette. We chose the creamy penne pasta with snow peas & bacon for our main course and it was to die for! Of course we saved room for the decadent chocolate cake! What a wonderful end to an amazing day.

good food, good service
Friendly people, service is good, lovely outdoor seating areas. A couple of tables even with fire pits. We had a hamburger, fries and a salad. They provide a good portion, food was good.
