Fabulous dinner in every aspect
Fantastic dinner with family over the Thanksgiving weekend! Starters, main course and dessert all beautifully prepared, presented and melt-in-your-mouth delicious! We visit Ashland often and will make sure to eat here in future trips! Kudos to the chef and entire staff for making this dinner outstanding in every aspect!

New favorite restaurant
Excellent multi-course meal wonderfully prepared. Knowledgeable server recommended wine pairings that were fabulous. We loved it from starter to dessert and will be back as soon as we can!

Poor preparation, tasteless food overpriced but nice atmosphere.
Very average to mediocre food—over priced. Cocktails were very watery. Bread was small pieces with bland olive oil. Could not accommodate cow’s milk dairy intolerance for members of our family for majority of their main dishes. My main dish - halibut with vegetables. Halibut was overcooked and not seasoned I had to use salt to give it any flavor. Vegetables that accompanied were bland and overcooked.

Wonderful atmosphere and service, with delicious food
Had dinner on Saturday night on the patio. Two of us had pasta, one had tagine and one had chicken… all delicious. Meg was our server and made wonderful recommendations for appetizers and beverages. It was cozy, but not cramped. This is my second time there and each time has been amazing.

Now sure what Neo Rustic is, but I know good food when I eat it! This is good food.
My wife and I were in Ashland to see some shows at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and also celebrate our anniversary. I did some looking around at menus and this one looked good. Not sue what Neo Rustic means, exactly, but the choices sounded pretty good. It's not a big place and a little off the main drag but very close to the theatre campus and they take reservations (though through a third party online-I miss the old days when you just called). We got there and the host offered us a choice of seats with a warning about the possibility of noisy neighbors. We opted for the other table. Our server was friendly and the bussers were attentive. I was able to figure out that Neo Rustic meant (at least here) some new takes on old classics. I have to say, from our caprese salad to the our berry pie a' la mode, the dishes were executed flawlessly and were all quite delicious. One caveat though, the food is quite rich and don't be fooled by the smaller portions. We were pleasantly satisfied. The richness of the food is not something we're accustomed to but that's because we simply don't eat out a lot and we did have dishes heavy with sauce. There were other menu options that might have been better for us though. This is in no way a knock on the food, just a head's up. It's a place we will go back to on our trip to Ashland next year. Thanks to the staff for providing a wonderful dining experience!
