I heard about this restaurant and how the make their own bread and that the crew was excellent and very friendly. Let me say I was not disappointed, the sun- sandwich was excellent, the staff great and the prices very reasonable. I am already planning on returning there for lunch next Tuesday, while I’m in town on business. This is a must, if you’re in the Bay Area.

I love their food, everyone does but the front counter service is the worst. Unfortunately, it is also the owner every time and you would think you would try to hustle to make all of your customers happy. The ladies making the food are excellent and always on top of the rush but the counter needs work. Even if you call in your order ahead of time, you used to be able to pay ahead but now she hangs up on you before giving the option so you still have to wait in line. I expect to wait a little and that is not a problem, but today it took 28 minutes to even reach the counter for my call in. They would probably get more business if people knew they could get in and out of there with a to go order a little quicker. Time to hire counter help PLEASE!!!

Just the Best !
Partners and I's favorite spot for sandwich. They have fresh buns and best quality fillers. We tried another spot in town advertising fresh daily and they were clean, expensive and flavorless. City Subs Still Rules and by a large margin.

Great Sandwiches
This was a great find as we drove through Coos Bay! Delicious rolls and great sandwich choices. Clean seating area and bathrooms. The staff was very nice, too.

The place is nice and clean , very friendly staff, and the usual great subs here. I love the Italian best, but the American is great also....
