It's so hard finding a good Mexican restaurant in Oregon. This restaurant had a full parking lot so we had hopes! We ordered their nachos with chicken. Decent portion and good flavors. We shared a combo plate with a chili relleno and enchilada. We couldn't finish it because we were so full and had to take the rest home. I also ordered their Sunday drink special--Mimosa. Finally someone who serves a mimosa the way it should--a tall flute full to the top with champagne and a separate glass of fresh squeezed orange juice for me to add the portion of juice to champagne that I wanted. Definitely would go here again.
Ha! 30 minutes before closing time they shut the doors. I went to the door and the young lady said they were closed. Why have posted hours if you don’t want customers. Friendly but horrid
We stayed in The Dalles as a halfway point in our travels. We found this restaurant to be the best of any Mexican restaurant ever. Their chili relleno is fresh and excellent. The restaurant is clean and the staff friendly.
We were in town for the night and saw that this restaurant had good reviews so we gave it a try. We shared one order of fajitas and they were really good and we were both very full. The portions are really big. I'd recommend this restaurant if you like Mexican food.
My sister and I love this place, but even the vegetarian options have rice cooked with chicken broth. If one just trusts that the vegetarian options are actually vegetarian, one will be eating chicken broth. If they cooked the rice in veggie broth and didn't use chicken in the vegetarian portion of their menu, this would be my favorite Mexican place! But since I can't eat the rice, it's just a once every couple months kind of thing for me, sadly.
