This place was recommended by the hotel we were staying at. we started with 2 cups of clam chowder and it was very good. My wife had the shrimp scalmpi and I had the shrimp combo. both were very good. (plent of food). Stepf M provided excelant service.

can't say enough about this great restaurant...food, service and little extras. even when incredibly busy on a saturday dinner (early 5pm), they seated patrons quickly, served us quickly, menu has large variety of fish, soup, etc., and quality of food is very good. the personal extra touch is there, too. so good and varied, we went there 2 days in a row on vacation. when i called the first day, since menu online wasn't so accurate, they just asked what kind of fish i wanted and how i wanted it. they will make it your way. portions are large, too. both nights, i had as much leftover as i ate at the restaurant! price is very reasonable for what you get, and all staff are so kind and helpful. easy to find, and right in the middle of town. i haven't been this impressed with a low-key family restaurant for a long time. reminds me of Mo's, but even better!

Had to wait for a table, but the 2 servers were swamped with customers in the dining area. The servers took orders, delivered food, then they had to bus the tables and check people out. Now, I ordered a cup of their clam chowder, and a 5 piece of fish and chips, fries, and coleslaw. The chowder was missing "something". It was bad, but wasn't good. The fish, I dunno what type it was, but that too was bland. Even with malt vinegar. Oh, and it was fried. The cole slaw was bland also. I ordered an iced tea, and prefer pink packets of sweetener. I asked for one or two, and the server informed me it was either regular sugar or yellow packets. Nothing else.

Best restaurant in North Bend, OR
This is our favorite restaurant in North Bend, OR. The food is always cooked to perfection especially the fish preparations. The Carrot Cake is beyond words "Good". The service is always with a smile and timely. Prices are reasonable for the area.

a great place for clam chowder
This place was recommended by the staff at the mill casino. and a great restaurant it was the food was very good, and the clam chowder was the best we had anywhere we had gone all the way down the coast and the staff was very friendly and all the food was good but like I said the chowder was the best.
