Business is for sale. Get your ice cream!!
The ice cream is amazing..and there is a cone flavor for each ice cream flavor. I tried the burnt chocolate which had some salt and smoke in the flavor…it was amazing, The place is technically for sale so hopefully the new owner will maintain the excellent ice cream flavors.

The Best Chowder in Oregon
They serve the best chowder in Oregon. Fight me. This is a family owned and run small business that turns out to be celebrating its 10th year in 2025. April to be exact. Learned all this one quiet afternoon briefly chatting with tge team that works there. The owner's son is Chef most of the time now and his filial pride is obviously as he talks about how his mom started the place 10 years ago. When I make my drive down from Seattle to stay on the coast I almost always make it a point now to drop by this place. It started back in December 2022 when I came for the first time with the love of my life. Sometimes I wonder if that's why the soup tasted so good, because I was with him. But visit after visit the soup has proven to hold its own even in the absence of my beloved. That first order, we took 2 pints of soup back with us to the hotel. We were amazed at how hearty and delicious the soups were as we ate by the fire. We ordered the Northwest chowder and we the vegan coconut based Thai curry. One of them had seafood in it. I can't remember which, but I do remember the thinking "this is the best chowder I have ever had." All soups are served with an amazing sourdough whose bottom crust should not be underestimated. The bread is baked locally in Nehalem at a place called Wolf Moon bakery. I only know it because I happen to drive by it and see the baking racks cooling on the porch of the bakery. When I visited last month (December 2024) I discovered their new menu item: coconut miso Ramen. Perhaps I had done it and going to heaven. But served piping hot, as all their soups are, this one was topped with roasted seaweed and kimchi, just the way Koreans like it. The noodles were al denté and soup never made it back to the hotel. I had intended just to taste the new broth and eat the rest when I got back to the hotel: but one sip lead to a slurp which led to the whole thing disappearing while I sat in the car and inhaled it on that cold and rainy Pacific Northwest afternoon. Somehow it was the perfect dining experience: piping hot delicious Ramen takeout in the car. It doesn't get better than that. Except for the fact that they hand sign each paper bag that leaves the restaurant with a thank you artistically scrawled in marker and hand stamped with their logo. Quintessential Pacific Northwest hospitality. Go there. You'll see what I mean. You'll understand why customers don't mind the wait.

Best ice cream ever!!!!
We stayed nearby and our host told us to come here. The chowder and ice cream were the best ever. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Great little local flavor!
Such a sweet little spot. Friendly people, good food, delicious ice cream (including dairy free for the husband!), unique flavors. Loved our curry, too. Oh, and they don't act mad when you show up for food... (unlike some other Oregon coast establishments :)

Welcomed Surprise
Had the salad and chowder. Both were delicious. Shocking that this little town had had the best food we have had so far on this trip down the coast. Because it’s done out only, walked to the river to enjoy our lunch with other friendly diners at the riverside picnic tables which was also an added bonus.
