Hell yes, for most.
Referencing a previous review: Yes, please do not bring children here. (IMO.) And if you call yourself a "Classy woman" this might not be the place for you. Though, in my mind a "classy woman" can comport herself in any situation... and with class. So I question her self-assessment. Likewise, no-one should come to the mountain if they want Downtown treatment to follow them. I laugh on the inside when I hear those complaints. But when they go to far, then I speak up. I digress. Re: "The Brightwood". Good people, young and old. Good drinks. The Owner is a good guy. The place is JUST off the beaten path. Most folks know each other but all are welcomed. I mean, you most likely won't get a handshake at the door, but you wont get side-eyed, either. Not for long, anyway. Parking is no problem. You might be able to park a larger RV across the street at "The Brightwood Store" if you ask them. (Think rural-ish Plaid Pantry) Wi-Fi is spotty. Men's Room IS cramped (per previous review) and the floor leading there is uneven. It can make a sober person trying to navigate it look drunk. And if you are new and have had a couple drinks, I don't like your chances of not faltering. I call those things character and if a person can't handle that, I don't know what to tell 'em. Like I said, it ain't the city but some of us wouldn't have it any other way. That's why I get out of the city at each opportunity. Looking forward to pool table re-opening and the Sunday Tourney resuming.

Great Local - Friendly with character
Excellent bartender, friendly folks in an building that feels like it's been there since they first crossed the pass. It's one of those places that there's just not anything to complain about. Fine dining? Nope. Good eats? Absolutely! Good home style cooking.

Great Place
Great food and service. Excellent mushroom burger, onion rings that you can bite through easily, well-drained Reuben with tasty sauce and tangy sauerkraut, and very good fries. 4.5 stars, would be 5 except the bathroom is very cramped (but clean). Go, feel welcome, eat well.

Delicious and friendly
Our b&b tried really hard to get us to drive into government camp for dinner but we had already driven all day and wanted something very close. The man tending bar served us at our table. He was friendly and gave recommendations before we asked. He also didn't mess with my beer/sprite mix so I got what I ordered and enjoyed it. Food arrived quickly and was yummy. Husband had a juicy burger and I had a great Rueben. Bathroom was adequate.

Bar food done right.
Wonderful people. Excellent food. Comfy and warm. Patio area is very nicely done. The service was fast and friendly even though the place was very busy. French fries were the best I ever had. Tasted good.....not greasy!
