Highly recommended
Perhaps my favorite place downtown. I ate lunch here three times. All three times, the food was good and seemingly healthy. Staff was quite nice, and the chefs in the back had definite talent. As Cherry Wonderdog proudly displays his master of soup cooking credentials on his resume, Boda’s Kitchen’s offerings were highly scrutinized. And they passed with flying colors. We ate Hungarian mushroom soup, then Vegetable Lentil, then Tom Kha Kai on three successive midday trips. On two of the three days, the weather was sufficiently warm and sunny to eat outside on one of the two tables in front of the shop. All in all, what a quaint, laid-back, reasonably-priced café for a great lunch. Cherry Wonderdog highly recommends.

Delicious Lunch
Stopped here for lunch during our Mt. Hood Day Trip from Portland to Multnomah Falls and Hood River. We both had the Ham and Brie Panini, which was outstanding. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff, and a charming shop made this an outstanding choice. Highly recommended for lunch whilst in Hood River, which itself is a delightful little town.

Terrific takeout
Delicious salads, chicken and sweets that were the perfect takeout dinner during our stay in Hood River.

Nice sandwiches
We had the chicken salad wrap and ate at the table outside the restaurant. Service was fast and the wrap tasted great!

We stopped for a sandwich
We stopped for a sandwich to go. Had the Turkey Berry sandwich on a ciabatta roll. Sandwich was really good. I would stop at Boda’s again when visiting the area.
