Heard such great things about this place and there BBQ. Went with my family on a Friday night. Our servers were great. I ordered the BBQ plate with 2 meats. I got burnt ends and hot sausage. The burnt ends were like black rocks. Ended up eating the sausage only. For the price ($32) it was a let down.
They had a great menu of fresh and local foods paired with an impressive selection of great beer. The server was knowledgeable about both of those as well and helped narrow down a difficult decision with excellent recommendations. The music and corresponding albums and artwork adorning the walls made for a perfect atmosphere. I will be back!
I’m big on good service and that’s what Blackdog provides every time I’ve been here. Easily the best burger in town with their beef blend and the only place that produces a perfect medium rare. This has been our “go to” place since they opened. Highly recommended.
Excellent food and good variety to select from. Nice beer selection on tap. We have been happy with the service most of the times we were there.
This place is tucked into the back end of a small strip mall near the bowling alley in Forest Grove. It looked like a bar from the outside and was surprised when we walked in and tasted their fare. The presentation and quality is as good as any higher end restaurant in the Portland area. You really should check it out.
