Food was good but their pumpkin bread was moldy but they didn't charge for the bread. It has a friendly historical and warm environment
Cozy and classic small town eatery
Was out sightseeing the Columbia County countryside and decided to get a bite to eat on a Sunday evening. Was pleasantly surprised they were open and enjoyed a couple of great burgers in nice casual surroundings. The sweet potato fries were really good as well. The place really has character.
A Good Refueling Spot for Cyclists
The Black Iron Grill has a varied menu and is a good place to refuel when bicycling the Banks-Vernonia Trail, with indoor and patio seating.
Decent pub food with ‘atmosphere’
Clearly a locals place. We had a chicken wrap which was just okay with too much mayo. Very old building with sloped floors in places ( be careful). Worth doing once.
" Hidden Gem"
Our group happened to stop by this restaurant on a trip home to Seattle. The food was outstanding. The service was helpful and friendly. The hamburgers and sandwiches were delicious.
