With the hype on Trip Advisor I had high hopes. Unfortunately I was disappointed. Baby Back Ribs and Caesar Salad to go was on my mind. Took 15 minutes to even get recognized although one of the wait staff walked by 4 times. The ribs were delivered in about 15 minutes without the salad. That took another 5-10 minutes. Ribs didn’t have much BBQ taste IMO.

November 28, 2024Scotty FDid not and would not honor reservation, made over a months in advance. Manager needs lesson in customer service.
24 Oct, Called to make sure they were doing Thanksgiving again this year. (Have had Thanksgiving Dinner there for the last two years). They said yes. I made a reservation for Thur 28 November at 1530. I called this morning at 1100 to confirm my reservation. They said they did not have a reservation for me. They did however say they had a reservation for 1500. We arrived arrived @ 1455. They put us in the lounge. Loud, and football on all the televisions. Our original reservation was not observed. The second reservation was not for the lounge. Manager made no effort to satisfy the customers. Will never walk into that terrible place again. Hope you are happy when you restaurant fails. Because I will be. Hoped this would be our neighborhood restaurant. They constantly disappoint us. Crappy food (except for past Thanksgivings) and crappy at osphere.

After a long day of tsking my sisters sight seeing we were coming back home hungry. I have never tried Billy Smoothboars befor so after living in Port Orford for 4 years now I figued its finally time. I had the tri tip sandwich with onion rings, and both my sisters had the brisket meals. To go. after about a half hour wait the meal came and we took it home. I sorry to say, It was a very big disappointment. my sandwich was incedibly small, and after paying three bucks extra just to get oinion rings, I got maybe six. wich were dark brown like the frying oil had not been changed in a while. my tri tip sandwich, was on a very small roll hardley any meat, and what little it had was chewy. Both my sisters brisket meals were very dry and plain, and the cornbread was so dry it could choke you. The only good thing in my opinion was the bbq sauce. Lol/ . The meals all together cost a bit over seventy bucks for the three of us. I would say it is really not worth half that. The crows seemed to enjoy the meal though. Now we know why it wasnt hardley crowded for a saturday night .

Poor service terrible food.
Came by with my Wife to get a burger and fries for dinner and didn't want just the fast food, for $40 we got about a 3" bun with a commercial instant 14 Lb burger patty, absolutely no condiments at all on it and the fries were soft and mooshy with no color whatsoever and they were definitely the frozen kind you get at the Super market, I'll just go to Dairy Queen next time, their burgers and fries are 4 times the quality and less that 1/2 the price.
