Excellent service

Food was great and the bartenders that day made our visit even better! They were super helpful and let us taste different brews, and were very friendly - made dining with three children super easy!

Our Oregon Excursion

We visited this place on one of our two evenings in Florence. It looked pretty rustic going in but my wife saw seafood Cobb salad on the menu and wanted to try it. We were seated immediately and our order taken. On one side my wife’s salad was really good. I had their halibut fish and chips and found the fish to be rather tasteless and in very small portion. Not once during our meal did our server return to see how we were doing. I would have loved ketchup for my fries and a refill on my soda. I had to stop a bus person to get our bill. Overall this was not an experience that would cause me to want to go back here again.

Outstanding fresh halibut dinner here. Everything was fresh including the veggies. So glad we found this place during our one-night visit to Florence, Oregon.

Great Food in Old Florence

My sister, her husband and my husband and I stumbled on this restaurant at 7:30 pm after arriving in Florence. A number of recommended restaurants were about to close or were really busy. It was a Friday and there was a street celebration going on. Just walking down the street we found the Bay Street Grill. The food was fabulous: local oysters and very fine salmon. Also excellent beers on tap. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Too many mistakes.

We went for dinner and to watch a game. At first service was good. Peg tried to order crab cakes and was told they were out. She ended up ordering a southwest salad. I ordered halibut parmesan with the house salad and garlic fries. For the next customers seated the lady ordered crab cakes and the waitress told her that they were out, then she said she'd check with the cook. The lady got crab cakes. She was my halibut was perfectly cooked but came with regular fries, soggy, and coleslaw. The southwest salad that was to come with salsa came with picante sauce. We are never going back.
