Our family has been vacationing this section of the coast for 6 generations. Places to experience a little finer dining are few and far between. Many good establishments places come and go over time. Not that this is a white tablecloth experience (or priced as such), but it combines a warm, small town coastal atmosphere with fresh, delicious, locally sourced, and beautifully presented dishes. We experienced the Sunday Set Menu dinner (3-8pm; menu changes weekly); kale salad w/smoked salmon, entrees of egg plant parmesan & grilled Albacore tune, and a delicious ricotta and berry cake. Reservations recommended but not essential. We made them the afternoon on the day of while a few others walked in.

You Got To Try This One!
WOW! What a great little place, Ran by 2 business partners who source the food from local farms. The food was absolutely delicious and the prices for this level of food were unbelievable. Been in the area for 2 weeks and this was by far the best meal we have had. Everything was prepared fresh, nothing packaged. Could not say enough good about this place.

Best lunch on the coast
Best lunch I’ve had on the coast I can remember and prices were reasonable. I had the chowder and Italian beef sandwich, my mom had a crab melt. We are Italians and foodies and loved it. Very cool little laid back place. Glad to have found it!

Here for a group event and the food was phenomenal! The service was awesome. I can’t say enough about this place. Fresh ingredients made right!

Not disappointed in Bay City Oregon!
The North Oregon Coast received a huge upgrade with Bay City Kitchen coming on line. We've eaten there multiple times and have been delightfully pleased with the quality and creativity of the dining experience. You will be greeted by Pastry Chef Kathy who takes your order at the counter from a changing menu. Yes, they have take out and soups and casseroles in the grab & go case but we really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and incredible food that flows out of Chef Derek's kitchen. Christmas Eve served up a delicious Feast of Seven Fishes - each dish was exceptional using Black cod, salmon, Dungeons crab, squid, mussels and calms - and ended with the most delicious Buche de Noel. Could not have been more perfect. Bay City Kitchen is a wonderful surprise for the Oregon coast! Enjoy your visit!
