A jewel in tiny Rhododendron
Our order of 10 pizzas to go put a lot of pressure on their chefs but they were up to the job. The pizzas were delicious and I consider myself a picky eater when it comes to pizza. Among the unusual offerings were the pear (we are in pear country) and walnut, different and quite good; the beet, pesto and ricotta was especially good. The head of house warned people coming in that our order did mean that the kitchen would be slower, which I found thoughtful. Everyone there seemed to be a regular enjoying themselves. What a treasure to have in your small town and close to Mt Hood!

Nice staff and warm stove
Rigatoni was watery and not very flavorful for $17. Pest mushroom pizza and beet salad was good. Love the environment and warm wood stove. Use to be my favorite place but feels like quality decreased.

Love it!
Love the people and the food here! I came here after a really cool off-road drive and hike with my dog.

Incredible Pizza Place, Great Ambience
We're a small film crew working in the area for the last month and have frequented Al Forno a couple times with a large group of people for dinner. Each time they've been incredibly welcoming and haven't batted an eye at our number. The food is also incredible. Great pizza and as one waiter told us, every item is a must try. I've tasted most of them at this point and 100% agree!!! There's lots of great vegetarian options as well that even the meat lovers are keen on.

Great pizza and staff here.
From the outside it looks like we wanted to keep driving, but we were told had good food, so we went in and to our surprise, it was hands down the best pizza we all have ever had!! Drinks were good and the pizza menu was odd choices to put on pizzas, but wow what a treat it was to have pears and walnuts on a pizza, who knew it would taste so good!! Son and I got the meat pizza and had elk/wild boar sausage on it, wow super good. The crust was perfect and ate it all. The staff was fun to hang out with and super fun when walk by and talk with us and kept our drinks full. We will be back even it is just a road trip to the area. Too good to miss out on if you like pizza.
