About Albany Farmers’ Market

Founded in 1978, the Albany Farmers’ Market is the oldest continuously operated open-air farmers’ market in Oregon. This year, the market returns to its riverfront location at Water and Ferry St SW, along with the new street plaza between Ferry and Broadalbin.

The Albany Farmers’ Market offers an abundance of fresh, locally sourced food, including seasonal produce, artisanal cheeses, and freshly baked bread. The market also features the Power of Produce Club, a hands-on educational program for children ages 5–12 that encourages healthy eating habits.

While the market has grown over the years, it continues to honor its roots and celebrate the community’s connection to local agriculture. Visitors of all ages are invited to explore and enjoy this long-standing community tradition.
