Willamette Ale and Cider House

The Willamette Ale & Cider House (WACH) building is considered to be one of Willamette’s historic landmarks. The original building was founded in 1915. It is the oldest building in the heart of historic Willamette. It took over three years to completely restore the building, including various structural and seismic upgrades, to be in pristine condition today.

Willamette Ale & Cider House was founded with the purpose of showcasing premier craft beer and cider from the Pacific Northwest and other selective parts of the world such as British style Cask Real Ale. It serves not only as a spot to grab a drink and a bite to eat, but also as a place to share in the local craft culture. The traditional British-Royal inspired interior design sets a warm and inviting atmosphere, serving as the perfect backdrop for brewing nostalgic memories with your family and friends.

The ale and cider house is home to Queen Orchard, a Cider-Winery production facility, where premium craft hard-cider and cider-wine is made. In addition to the Queen Orchard brand, guests can enjoy a wide selection of local, premium craft beer, cider, and wine through the King’s Tavern (Taproom). Duke’s Cellar – the wine bar – offers unique and premium beer, cider and wine from around the world. And as the perfect complement to the craft beverages, Duchess Café offers uniquely delicious European style café deli food and drinks to complete the experience.
