Wolves & People Farmhouse Brewery opened at the historic Springbrook Farm in 2016 with a mission to create small-batch beers that express Oregon’s terroir, much in the same way as wine. The brewers use pure well water, grow their own hops, produce their own sour cultures and wild yeast propagated from their own fruit trees. They even grow heirloom fruit and nuts, such as hazelnuts and plums, to put a modern spin on everything from classic farmhouse saisons to Belgian stouts, wild ales to sour and barrel-aged beers.

Cute little spot (my wife’s words)
Love this place! Staff very friendly. You walk in on hazelnut husks. So cool. I had the Wolf of Wheat Hazy Pale Wheat. So unique and juicy. My wife prefers Pilsner, she had the Crushpad Pilsner (several). Crushed it! Pun intended. My last beer was Nut Farm Chocolate Hazelnut Porter. Best Hazelnut Porter (and I have had a few). I bought a 4 pack for the hotel room. I really loved this place, it seemed Oregon authentic.

Loved it
Great beer and atmosphere. Sit outside, bring your dog and a snack and you’re golden! Perfect for a date or to hang with friends. Will definitely be back

Family Pet and neighbor friendly Brewery
We absolutly love this place, so friendly to pets and kids with great beers at reasonable prices. Bring your own food. There are a few snacks too. This is in our neighborhood, so we can walk to it and it is great to see others in the neighborhood and around Newberg. There is a fire pit and a dozen or so picnic tables and other lounge chairs around, even some under a tent with a heater. We have been there in cold weather and warm and still had a great time.

Dang "Howling" good beer
This is a new but local brewery. Wolves and People are located just on the edge of Newberg. The farmland and buildings are over 100 years old so please be respectful of the surrounding area. They are just down the road on the right with a small white sign. Since we went in Winter they had a pop tent with heater. The main building is small with two bar chairs, one bathroom, a giant book stand, and a separate table for two. It's a small area because the rest of the building is for the brewery itself. Huge metal containers which several different kind of beer is fermenting in. Despite being small the mushy, harsh smell of hops wasn't heavy in the air but a nice light "citrus" small wafted about. They make all of their own beer. They even use the hazelnuts or Filberts (you'll know this is you're parents are born and raised Oregonian). However, I am terrible at describing beer. I don't have the trained palate to talk about taste or texture, the fruits and malts. So I will only tell you is that when we went and sampled some I couldn't decide which beer to have as I really enjoyed all of them and so I started with top left and drank my way to the right. From what I remember about Wolves and People is that they collaborate a lot with other surrounding breweries. Thy do have some unique hours so be sure to call if you're unsure. Again they are a new brewery and I believe they are still expanding not only in beer but in business hours. We do plan to go back very soon for a beer release.
